NEC 101 Elektrostatica

Het werkgebied van NEC 101 bestaat uit het begeleiden van de internationale normalisatie in mondiale en Europese normalisatiecommissies op het gebied van elektrostatica.
NEC 101 treedt op als schaduwcommissie van IEC/TC 101. Voor de volledigheid hieronder taak en werkgebied van deze commissie.
IEC/TC 101: Electrostatics
Standardization in the field of electrostatics to provide general guidance on test methods to evaluate the generation, retention and dissipation of electrostatic charges, on ascertaining the effect of electrostatic discharges and on methods of simulation of electrostatic phenomena.
Horizontal safety function:
To specify methods of test and relevant equipment to evaluate generation, retention and dissipation of electrostatic charges on materials.

De belangrijkste activiteiten van NEC 101 zijn:

• actieve participatie in IEC/TC 101;
• de implementatie van mondiale en Europese normen in Nederland;
• het geven van technische adviezen binnen het werkgebied van de commissie.
