Welcome by Liesbeth Jansen, Kuwait Petroleum Research
Chair NEN/NC 310 028 and Chair CEN/TC 19
Dear Colleagues, dear Friends,
On behalf of the Dutch Standardisation Committee on Liquid and Gaseous Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products, I would like to welcome you to the NEN offices in Delft. It is a great pleasure to see that so many working groups both in ISO and in CEN took the opportunity offered by Royal NEN to schedule their meeting in the ISO/TC 28 plenary week. This shows the commitment of all of you to standardisation in the challenging times for our industries.
I hope to greet you all in person during the plenary meeting on Friday and particularly at the social event on Wednesday evening. This will be an informal event where we will have time to confirm our friendships.
NEN has done a great job to accommodate us for these meetings. Thanks to Ortwin, Evelien, Pauline, Naazra and all others behind the scene for their support. If you need anything please do not hesitate to contact them. Thanks to the Member Companies of our National Committee for sponsoring this important week.
Wishing you fruitful meetings and a very pleasant stay in Delft and in The Netherlands!
