Delegates to (inter)national meetings are requested to wear the personal badge, handed out upon registration, during all meetings, lunches and social event.

Lunch buffet

Lunches are offered by NEN and the Dutch Standardization Committee and are served between 12:30 and 13:30 in the Atrium AB0 at ground floor level except on Thursday.
Lunch on Thursday will be served in the Europe meeting room during the delegates meeting.

Safety and security

In case of calamities in our building ALWAYS follow instructions of the NEN employee, present at your meeting and familiar with the building and escape routes.

House rules

Smoking is prohibited – in line with Dutch law – in the whole building. You may smoke outside, preferably at the seating area on the left side if leaving the main entrance.

You are requested not to take food into the meeting rooms.

Coffee, tea and drinks will be served in the meeting rooms. If there is lack of drinks you can call the restaurant at extension 102.

Social event on Thursday 11 May

On behalf of the Dutch mirror committee we are pleased to invite you to a social event on Thursday afternoon and evening with a city visit and a boat tour with dinner.

Time schedule and outline of the social event:
2h pm. - Departure from NEN office
3h pm. - Guided city tour Leiden
4.45h pm. - transfer by bus
5h pm. - start of the boat tour with dinner
9h pm. - return to Delft by bus

Returning to Delft, the bus will stop at Hampshire hotel, WestCord hotel and NEN office.

Attendees with special diets are asked to inform the registration desk or mail to Evenementen@nen.nl

Restaurants in Delft

The city centre of Delft has numerous restaurants in different styles and prices. We advise you to make a reservation first if you intend to dine with a large group.

Delegates to meetings at NEN have a discount on the menu price at in restaurant 'Moodz' and 'Seven Hills' showing your badge. Staying in Hampshire hotel you receive 10% cash back in Restaurant 'Swing'.

Bike rental

You can rent a bike for € 7.50 and € 15 per day (€ 50 deposit and by showing your passport) at Delft Central Station T+31 15 21 43 033 or bike rentals in the city centre; ask at the reception desk of your hotel.
