House rules

Smoking is prohibited – in line with Dutch law – in the whole building. You may smoke outside, preferably at the seating area on the left side if leaving the main entrance.

You are requested not to take food into the meeting rooms.

Coffee, tea and drinks will be served in the meeting rooms. If there is lack of drinks you can call the restaurant at extension 102.

The weather situation in June is usually stable (sunny with occasional showers). Average daily temperature is between 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Delegates from outside the "Schengen area of Europe" are advised to check with their local travel agency about regulations regarding passports, visas and vaccinations and, particularly, about the time required for obtaining a visa if necessary.

From NH Atlantic you can take city bus 24 towards The Hague Central Station. From there take a commuter train (Sprinter) to Rotterdam CS (approx. 4 times per hour). Get off at Delft Zuid station.

From Delft Zuid station you can walk in approx. 5 minutes to our office at Vlinderweg 6 (see map for the right direction). Coming from the direction Rotterdam, you first have to cross the rail track by the stairs. Turn left when you leave the train station and cross the road at the traffic lights. Walk further through a small green lane towards the office buildings in front of you. NEN is situated in the second building. If you arrive at Delft Central Station take bus 60 or 80 (direction “Tanthof”) and get off at bus stop “Kalfjeslaan”. Walk a few meters back to the Kalfjeslaan and turn right there. You can then see our office building at some 300m distance. Travelling time is approx. 10 minutes.
