Over deze publicatie
Every electrical product/apparatus shall function correctly in the environment for which it has been developed, and shall not be disturbed by other electrical apparatus or telecommunication-services. To achieve this goal each product/apparatus must comply with EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) requirements. In many countries EMC standards and regulations still deviate from the international accepted standards, e.g. IEC-standards. An overview of the regulations of 83 countries is given. This listing of regulations and standards will be a help in the design, development and testing of electrotechnical products. Information is given on the following product groups: 1 Electric motor-operated and thermal appliances for household and similar purposes, electric tools and similar electric apparatus; 2 Electric lighting and similar equipment; 3 Information technology equipment; 4 Broadcast receivers and associated equipment; 5 Radio Frequency equipment; 6 Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) equipment; 7 Vehicles, motor boats and associated equipment; 8 Telecommunication equipment; 9 Other product groups.
