Over deze norm
This International Standard is applicable to woodworking machines with cutting tools and/or sanding tools as defined in 3.1 when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer. This document contains the safety requirements and measures to reduce risks related to woodworking machines arising during operation, adjustment, maintenance, transport, assembly, dismantling, disabling and scrapping: those that are common to most of such machines. When a specific part of ISO 19085 relevant for a woodworking machine does not exist, ISO 19085-1 can help to establish the safety requirements for the machine. In this case the designer shall perform risk assessment according ISO 12100:2010 and design means for reducing risk from significant hazards.
