Over deze norm
This standard is primarily intended for the determination of the form stability of metal faced or metal cored bitumen sheets fully bonded to a substrate. The method may be applied to other types of bitumen sheets used for waterproofing. The form stability is defined as the change in distance between the two ends of a specimen cut from the bitumen sheet in the longitudinal direction when subjected to specified cyclical temperature changes. The form stability is expressed as a percentage of the initial length of the specimen. The aim is to demonstrate adequate form stability and therefore fitness for purpose in respect of thermal cycling of the order which occur in practise. This test can be used to measure basic properties of the bitumen sheet directly relevant to its fitness for purpose for waterproofing applications.
