Over deze norm
Establishes general principles for the construction, use and testing of circulation pumps having an electrical power input P1 smaller than or equal to 200 W, intended to be used in heating installations and domestic hot water service installations. Together with prEN 809:1992 this standard specifies safety requirements. As regards safety requirements for the elctrotechnical parts of circulation pumps EN 60335-2-51 applies. All known hazards which are likely to occur at normal installation and operation are covered by this draft European Standard. This standard does not contain any requirements and tests for airborne and structure borne noise emission. These items are going to be dealt with an amendment. This European Standard applies to: a) single-phase A.C. circulation pumps having an electrical power input P1 ≤ 200 W intended to be used in ordinary heating water systems with a max. permissible inlet temperature of TF ≤ 110 °C and a system pressure ps ≤ 6 bar. b) single-phase A.C. circulation pumps having an electrical power input P1 ≤ 200 W intended to be used in domestic hot water installations with a permissible inlet temperature of TF ≤ 65 °C and a system pressure ps 10 bar.
