Specifies the safety requirements for the design, manufacture and information for safe use of spreader, stripping and cutting machine, as well as the stick return conveyor and the stick magazine used in continuous automatic pasta processing lines. All machines covered by this standard, known by the name of spreader, stripping and cutting machine, the stick return conveyor and the stick magazine are classified as stationary units which cannot be moved when in operation. This standard covers mechanical hazards of such machines, relevant to normal operating conditions with or without product and during loading and unloading phases. Hazards generated by electricity, noise, heat, and lack of hygiene are also included. These hazards and the measures for their limitations are described in this standard.
