Over deze norm
This standard specifies: - materials, surface coatings and finishes of the product. - dimensions, hydraulic characteristics, tightness and mechanical properties, which shall be fulfilled by the expansion valves. - tests to determine that the characteristics and properties are met. - marking and presentation of combined temperature and pressure relief valves of nominal sizes DN 15 to DN 40 and with working pressures from 0,1 MPa (1 bar) to 1,0 MPa (10 bar) for fitting to storage water heaters, with a distribution temperature not exceeding 95 °C for all energy sources. Combined temperature and pressure relief valves control and limit the temperature and pressure of the water contained in a hot water vessel to the valve's rating pressure and a temperature not exceeding 100 °C and will prevent water to steam formation when other temperature control fail. It is not intended that it act as an expansion valve under normal conditions and has no other cold water control function. It does not alone constitute the control functions for a water heater.
