Over deze norm
|Commissie||Klimaatbeheersing in gebouwen|
This standard gives a simplified method for the calculation of: 1) the specific heat loss of buildings heated to uniform temperature; 2) the annual heat required by a building to maintain the specified set-point internal temperatures, 3) the annual energy required by the heating system of a building for space heating and hot water. The method, based on a monthly calculation period, gives correct results on a annual basis, but the results for individual months may be misleading. A seasonal calculation period is allowed provided that the duration of the heating season can be identified. This calculation method is primarily intended to be applicable to residential buildings (dwellings) with relatively small internal gaines and without air conditioning. This standard can be used for the following applications: 1) judging compliance with regulations expressed in terms of energy targets; 2) optimization of the energy performance of a planned building, by applying the method to several possible options; 3) assessing the effect of possible energy conservation measures on an existing building, by calculation of the energy requirement with and without the energy conservation measure; 4) predicting future energy resource needs on an international scale, by calculating the energy requirements of several buildings representative of the building stock.
