This standard describes how laboratories can better guarantee the quality of their chemical and microbiological tests with statistical control charts.

This approval is applicable to all five biomass categories that are distinguished and applies for the global use of the 'Better Biomass certified' claim. Better Biomass is the first certification scheme with full coverage.

18-02-2019 The English translation of NEN 2767-1:2017 was recently published. This Dutch standard describes the method to define and record the technical condition of an asset in an objective and uniform way. As a result of the demand from international organizations for an English version of the standard the Dutch Technical committee 'Condition assessment' decided to initiate the translation of NEN 2767-1:2017.

14-09-2018 A workshop jointly sponsored by standards organizations ASTM International and NEN will focus on presentations promoting innovative ways to use and reuse materials as well as increasing energy efficiency in the construction industry. This workshop will take place on Tuesday, October 16 in conjunction with the ASTM International Board of Directors Meeting in Amsterdam and will be hosted by NEN at their facilities in Delft, The Netherlands.
