Global forum on gas analysis gathers in The Hague

18-06-2019 Àngels Orduña Cao, Executive Director of the SPIRE Association, opened today the 10th edition of the GAS Analysis event in the Fokker Terminal in The Hague. The 2050 vision of SPIRE is presented, the public-private partnership for Sustainable Process Industry through Resource and Energy efficiency. GAS Analysis 2019 is the leading international symposium and exhibition for gas analysis manufacturers. Technical staff and end-users, presenting the latest developments in laboratory, process analysis, metrology and sensor technology and their applications.

More than 200 experts from national and international institutions, world-renowned industry and academia from all over the world have gathered in The Hague for a 3-day congress covering over 50 lectures in two parallel sessions.

Cutting edge analytical developments

These experts will present and discuss – cutting edge – analytical developments in the field of energy gases including natural gas, biogas and hydrogen; health, safety & the environment; laboratory & process optimisation; metrology, standardisation and certification; and measuring isotopes. Research results that are not yet mature enough for an oral presentation will be presented by posters. A new feature at GAS Analysis 2019 are the possibility to participate in short courses.

Networking, presentations and social dinner

GAS Analysis 2019 also consists of an exhibition in the Hangar, the area that was used in the past to set up the planes where students worked on. The 35 companies from all over the world are present to show their newest products and services to a targeted audience. The exhibition floor is convenient meeting place during the breaks for networking and discussing the topics addressed in the field of analysis of gases. Networking opportunities will also be offered during the 10th edition celebration ceremony in the Hangar and a social dinner event at the beach of Scheveningen.
