23-06-2017 Piet-Hein Daverveldt, Managing Director of NEN, the knowledge network within the Netherlands for standards development and application, is leaving the organisation by 1 November.
Led by Daverveldt, in 5 years NEN has seen a significant increase in its societal impact. The net promotor scores of customers and employees, the number of clients, the product portfolio and turnover have all grown significantly. With this, NEN has also strengthened its financial basis.
Its employees are NEN’s most important asset. They have been the driving force behind the successful transformation of NEN. They are now ready to bring NEN to a Next Level.
Daverveldts decision to leave NEN has been taken in consultation with its Board. They share the same goals but choose different paths for reaching them.
‘NEN is a great organisation. The strategy deployed five years ago has yielded the intended results. NEN is now ready for the next step. I will look towards new challenges and opportunities outside NEN to create societal impact’, says Daverveldt.
Piet-Hein Daverveldt will remain in function as Managing Director till 1 November 2017. In the meantime NEN is seeking a successor capable of consolidating the strongly improved position of NEN within the society, and of taking its strategy forward along the charted course.
The Board of NEN acknowledges Piet-Hein Daverveldt for his strong leadership, personal commitment and the results over the last 5 years and wishes him much success in his further career.
